Bath TC Wiltshire Handicap Knock-out Champions 2014

Congratulations to Team Bath TC who, on Sunday, in their 3rd consecutive final have now managed to secure the Wiltshire Handicap Knock-out Cup in convincing fashion! Captain Alex Keep having played in the previous 2 finals was all to aware of the agony of loosing by the narrowest of margins took to taking apart the Chippenham A side with his men’s doubles partner Corin Gibson winning 6-2, 6-3. The ladies pair Lauren Hatcher & Suzanne Reakes managed to tie their match at one set a piece. They fought valiantly to secure as many games as possible in the second set having been trailing 0-5, eventually finishing the rubber 6-5, 4-6. At this point the momentum was most definitely favouring Bath and the mixed pair sets were all won comfortably by team Bath TC. The final games tally being 61-32 to Bath.
