Latest Club Guidelines
From Monday 14 September, tennis clubs should be cognisant of a change in the law which limits the size of indoor and outdoor group gatherings in England to six people.
On Court: Tennis can continue to be played in accordance with existing ‘Play Safe, Stay Safe’ guidance. Groupings must not consist of more than six people.
Off the court: For informal social play, group size is limited to a maximum of six people by law. The exterior seating arrangements can continue to cater for 6 groups each containing a maximum of six people from different households. All participants should take special care to ensure different groups of six from within their party do not merge to form larger groups before, during or after play. Travel to and from the club and other venues should continue to be in accordance with government regulations.
Organised tennis activity for larger groups, including coached sessions, club nights and competitions is permitted by the Government as an exception to the limit of six, and so can continue, provided that venues, coaching providers and event organisers follow LTA COVID-19 secure guidelines, which can be found here –
NHS Test & Trace
To support NHS Test and Trace, as a venue we will be keeping a temporary record of all those on site for 21 days, in a way that is manageable, and assist NHS Test and Trace with requests for that data if needed. Therefore, from Friday 18th September, we are kindly asking that all those arriving to the club, to provide their first name and mobile number, by writing it down in the visitor book, located in the clubhouse. If for whatever reason the book is inaccessible, it is imperative that you text Andrew the contact details of those in your party. You can do this by texting 07823 321 993, thank you.
